Located in Washington Heights this is a home and center based, comprehensive Head Start program designed to meet preschool children's emotional, social, health, nutrition, psychological and development needs. Head Start is contracted to serve 200 children ages 3 to 5 years old per year. Its focus is education, early childhood development, child health and safety, and family-community partnership. Head Start provides:
